Emphatic Win for Brawn Mercedes

Seasons first race ends with History being re-written by UK based Brawn Mercedes. It was 1954 when another UK based F1 team Mercedes Benz won their maiden debut race. With a 1-2 finish by Button and Barrichello(former Ferrari driver along with Schumacher) followed by contending champion Lewis who made a podium finish by coming third in a dramatic turnaround where Trulli was given a 25 second penalty by steward taking him to 12th position.

 butt_braw_helmet_20091-150x150 butt_braw_melb_2009_470150

Stunning moment of this season opener was both Ferrari which started from the grid 6 and 7 position failed to deliver, adding to the woes was elimination of Massa in the 45th Lap and Kimi coming last in this season opener. The other Mclaren counterpart had a different fate written for him suffering from accident damage during this first lap.

Have you ever thought about it?

uwp5 (14)

There are few things that seems quite obvious but when we delve into it becomes quite complicated and looks seemingly difficult. These are the questions that we ask ourselves, but we justify it in a fashion that suits to us.

Don’t think I’ve gone crazy and wtf am I writing. This is just a thought of mine that I’ve gathered and wanted to key it down, just for change :)

Well, Have you ever questioned yourself how long is the present?

The question seems weird but the answer is thought provoking it’s immeasurable; it can be said as “penetration of eternity into time”.

Who are you? Can You hear silence? What is your identity? Can you justify your existence? all looks stupid right..but its not…

The crux of these questions is…….. everything given to you is by other you have a doubt because there are people who create a belief in you. If you don’t believe you don’t have a doubt. All that is given to you is by others. If you put that aside to sort out what is yours it’s pure emptiness.

So YOU ARE PURE EMPTINESS HIDDEN BEHIND ALL THOSE WORDS AND BELIEF AND RELIGONS WHICH HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO YOU.

This must be one of the crazy stuff Ive achieved to write.

No wonder an Empty mind is devil’s workshop :)

Linkin Park : The Best In The Business

I was craving to write about this “ The Best “ Rock band of the late 90’s and 21st Century without doubt.

Linkin Park HQ Picture Collection1_Red

Started of with three high school friends from california

Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Rob Bourdon

  • After Expanding their band with Joe Hahn, Dave Farrell, and Mark Wakefield to perform in their band, Xero. The initial hiccup and lack of success led Wakefield to leave the band.
  • Then after a long time spent in searching his replacement yielded Chester Benington vocalist from Arizona. An excellent vocalist for his unique style of singing
  • Band changed their name from Xero to Hybrid Theory. The band rebirth and extraordinaire chemistry between Mike and Chester helped gain some ground and they went on to change their band name to Linkin Park a homage to Lincoln Park(Chicago).
  • Despite their numerous rejection from music labels, Jeff Blue helped them seal a deal with Warner Bros.
  • Then Started the Era where their release after release was Major Hit
  • Hybrid Theory In October 2000, it represented the five years hardwork of the entire band. The singles such as "Crawling" and "One Step Closer" established themselves as staples among alternative rock radio play lists during the year. With record 4.8 millions copy being sold earned the status of best selling 2001 album.

Hybrid Theory was also nominated for three Grammy Awards, including best new artist, best rock album, and best hard rock performance (for "Crawling"). MTV awarded the band their Best Rock Video and Best Direction awards for "In the End".  Through the winning of the Grammy for best hard rock performance, Hybrid Theory's overall success had catapulted the band into the mainstream's attention.

Within a year’s duration they performed 320 concerts including their own Projekt:Revolution.

Reunion with former bassist Farell led to their work on remix album Reanmiation. With one of my personal best of that album being Crawling( Remixed By Shinoda).

  • Following the success of Hybrid theory the band officially announced the production of new studio album Meteora. The album debuted in March 2003. It ripped apart the previous achievement with 800,000 copies being sold the first week of its sale and 3 million copies over a short span of 8 months.
  • The band won MTV's awards for Best Rock Video ("Somewhere I Belong") and the Viewer's Choice Award ("Breaking the Habit").[31] Linkin Park also received significant recognition during the 2004 Radio Music Awards, winning the Artist of the Year and Song of the Year ("Numb") awards.[31] Although Meteora was not nearly as successful as Hybrid Theory, it was the third best selling album in America during 2003.
  • During the period of 2004-2006 they were more engaged in their side project and postponed their studio album work

The also participated in various charitable event, staging concert for the cause of hurricane Katrina.

They also helped 2004 Tsunami victims by setting up a fund “Music for Relief”.

  • Linkin Park returned to the recording studios in 2006 to work on new material. To produce the album, the band chose producer Rick Rubin. Despite initially stating the album would debut sometime in 2006, the album was delayed until 2007.The band had recorded thirty to fifty songs in August 2006, when Shinoda stated the album was halfway completed. Bennington later added that the new album would stray away from its previous nu metal sound.warner bros. officially announced that the band’s third studio album, entitled Minutes to midnight, would be released on May 15, 2007 in the United States.

The album's first single, "What I've Done" was released on April 2, and premiered on MTV and Fuse within the same week. The single was acclaimed by listeners, becoming the top-ranked song on the Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks and Mainstream Rock Tracks charts. Later in the year, the band won the "Favorite Alternative Artist" in the American Music Awards. The band also saw success with singles such as "Bleed It Out", "Shadow of the Day", "Given Up", and "Leave Out All the Rest", which were released throughout 2007 and early 2008.

With the astounding success of the Band over a span of decade. The projekt revolution still going good with latest release of Live At Milton Kevnes

Match Pack: Fulham Away Match

image

United are looking for a third win in five weeks against Roy Hodgson's side…
Form Guide: Fulham go into the game on the back of an impressive 3-1 win away at Bolton, but the Cottagers' recent home form is slightly worrying. Struggling Blackburn Rovers came from behind to win last weekend; seven days earlier, Hull City also scored late to nick a surprise point. Sandwiched between those two results was United's last visit, which ended in a comprehensive 4-0 win for Sir Alex's men. Meanwhile, United are aiming to bounce back from last weekend's 4-1 defeat at the hands of title rivals Liverpool.
Ins and Outs: Roy Hodgson has a full squad to choose from, with no known injuries or suspensions in the Fulham camp. As for United, Sir Alex will have to do without the suspended Nemanja Vidic and the injured Wes Brown and Owen Hargreaves. Rafael and Gary Neville could both be available for selection after recent niggles.
Star Man: Danny Murphy's been a thorn in United’s side more than once before and he’d love the opportunity to help his former club, Liverpool, reel in the Reds at the top of the table. If United concede a penalty, Dan's the man to step up to the spot.
What are the odds? Fulham 11/2, Draw 11/4, United 4/9 (ManUtd.com/bet)

Eagerly awaiting to take revenge

porto Vs Manchester_United

In the UCL draw for the build up to Quarter, Semi’s and Final’s Home team draw, Champions of the Europe, World are elated to see FC Porto as their opponents . Nostalgia of famous Mourinho run to the touchline when costinha scored the away goal at Manchester is what comes in mind first, that one goal that lured us from championship that season.

But this time around we are the defending champions and they are underdogs and we are going to give them the sweet taste of their own treatment.

Here’s the video I’ve found in youtube where Jose first came into picture in international arena.

Although Porto has a great pedigree of but we are equally wary of that said Sir Alex in post UCL draw comments.

Well, United’s defense may have been breached in the last two games but a miserly run of form in 2009 has proved key to the club’s continued chase for success on all fronts.

The Reds' solid backline is arguably the most enviable in Europe and

Indeed the Coveted trophy

uefa

Will surely be the taking for MU.

United we are
United we stand
The greatest by far
The best in the land

TATA Nano car…. dream of Ratan Tata to be unveiled in 3 days from today

nano

Some Fast Facts

The Nano will be launched on 23rd March, 2009. The car will be available in both standard and deluxe versions. Both versions will offer a wide range of body colours, and other accessories so that the car can be customised to an individual's preferences.

Stylish, comfortable
- Designed with a family in mind, the Nano has a roomy passenger compartment with generous leg space and head room.
- Can comfortably seat four persons. Four doors with high seating position make ingress and egress easy.
- With a length of 3.1 metres, width of 1.5 metres and height of 1.6 metres, with adequate ground clearance, it can effortlessly manoeuvre on busy roads in cities as well as in rural areas.
- Its mono-volume design, with wheels at the corners and the powertrain at the rear, enables it to uniquely combine both space and manoeuvrability, which will set a new benchmark among small cars.

Fuel-efficient engine
- The Nano has a rear-wheel drive, all-aluminium, two-cylinder, 623 cc, 33 PS, multi point fuel injection petrol engine. This is the first time that a two-cylinder gasoline engine is being used in a car with single balancer shaft.
- The lean design strategy has helped minimise weight, which helps maximise performance per unit of energy consumed and delivers high fuel efficiency.
- Performance is controlled by a specially designed electronic engine management system.

Meets all safety requirements
- The Nano's safety performance exceeds current regulatory requirements. With an all sheet-metal body, it has a strong passenger compartment, with safety features such as crumple zones, intrusion-resistant doors, seat belts, strong seats and anchorages, and the rear tailgate glass bonded to the body.
- Tubeless tyres further enhance safety.

Environment-friendly
- The Nano's tailpipe emission performance exceeds regulatory requirements. In terms of overall pollutants, it has a lower pollution level than two-wheelers being manufactured in India today.

- The high fuel efficiency also ensures that the car has low carbon dioxide emissions, thereby providing the twin benefits of an affordable transportation solution with a low carbon footprint.

Champions League Draw 2008/09 season Live On goal.com

Visit Goal.com on Friday March 20 at 15:30 IST for all the build-up and all the matches drawn at the Champions League and UEFA Cup draws...

At 16:30 IST (11:00 GMT) the draw proper begins to take place, and we'll bring you each individual match drawn the minute it happens.

Defending Champion MU

Chamions of europe

A quick look at the teams involved.

ARSENAL

The Gunners have stuttered their way through this season but may be hitting form at just the right time. Arsenal have players of the quality of Theo Walcott, Cesc Fabregas and Eduardo coming back from injury and seem to have struck a better balance in Europe this season. Arsene Wenger will probably want to avoid English opposition and they will need to rediscover their scoring touch if they are to make the last four.

BARCELONA

The Catalan giants are tournament favourites based on their blistering attacking play to date, disposing of Lyon 6-3 in the last round. The attacking triumvirate of Thierry Henry, Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi strikes fear into defences across the continent but there are question marks over their defence based on recent stuttering form in La Liga. Barcelona will be confident whoever they face and they have every reason to be.

BAYERN MUNICH

The German aristocrats made people sit up and take notice with their record thrashing of Sporting Lisbon in the last round. They have shown solid form throughout and possess players of real quality in winger Frank Ribery and full-back Philipp Lahm. The Allianz Arena is a difficult place to play but they will want to avoid the English giants if they are to progress.

CHELSEA

Chelsea have undergone a quiet transformation since the arrival of interim manager Guus Hiddink. Without being spectacular they seem to have rediscovered the spirit which made them so difficult to beat in the past. Michael Essien is back after a long injury lay-off to bolster their midfield and if Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard can continue their current form they may have what it takes to deliver that elusive Champions League title to Stamford Bridge.

LIVERPOOL

Liverpool are flying after superb results against Real Madrid and Manchester United, and with manager Rafa Benitez signing a new five-year contract there is a real feel-good factor around the club. Captain Steven Gerrard is bullish about their chances, telling Liverpool FC magazine: "We are not running scared of anybody. We will take who we get and believe that we are going to go through."

MANCHESTER UNITED THE STRONGEST CONTENDER AND DEFENDING CHAMPION

The Premier League and European champions have been imperious this season but a stuttering win against Inter Milan and last weekend's thrashing by Liverpool have given other teams in the draw some hope. Defender Nemanja Vidic believes the Premier League is the strongest in Europe but admits, "whoever we play will be difficult because they are all top teams now." Expect a reaction following the Liverpool result and another place in the semi-final seems more than likely.

PORTO

Undoubtedly the outsiders of the draw and probably the team everyone else would like to meet. The 2004 winners topped Arsenal`s group this season and disposed of an attacking Atletico Madrid side in the last round, so should not be completely discounted. In Lisandro Lopez they have a striker who knows how to score at this level, with six this season to date, but the impression is the quarter-finals will be where their adventure ends.

VILLARREAL

The smaller of the Spanish sides in the draw, the Yellow Submarine showed their tidy brand of football earlier in the competition when drawing twice with champions Manchester United. They possess quality in playmakers Santi Cazorla and Ariel Ibagaza and coach Manuel Pellegrini says his side "are focused on getting as far as possible." Villarreal will be tough opponents but a semi-final berth seems beyond them.

IE 8 Released on 19th March 9:30 IST

IE8

Despite what CNET announced ealier this week and what Microsoft has announced as the official release time for Internet Explorer 8's RTM (4pm GMT), I've just finished watching the installation wrap up on a system on my workbench via Windows Update. Due to the heavy server load Microsoft is anticipating, that wasn't supposed to happen right away.
In case you're not excited about the prospect of IE8 sneaking on to the systems you support (including your home computer), you can grab the blocker toolkit from Microsoft's web site.
We've looked at the new browser before (just this morning, as a matter of fact). Warnings aside, IE8 is a step in the right direction from Microsoft

Also another interesting fact is popular add-on's  like IE7Pro and Roboform works perfectly without any crashes.

Not so good but a must watch movie flick

Yesterday night I had time to watch movie . I decided to go for Dhoondte reh jaoge, whose review i found to be pretty good over the internet, but at the outset let me make my point clear this just another dragging story of a middle class individual. This film is said to be filled with drollery which I’m in total denial of. Soha Ali Khan is given the Jassi jaisi look minus the braces, and she failed to deliver as protagonist.

This movie’s screenplay lurks about film producer and middle class people . The film producer one’s a big name in industry has produced a line of flop movies, who is desperate to sign aryan(sonu) for his next flick. With kunal soha playing the middle class society people.

Kunal who plays the role of anand a solitary accountant who had been loyal throughout his life living a average middle class life with neha a bengali girl(soha), his girlfriend finds one day that she is gonna ditch him and get back to his cruel chacha in kolkatta.

Now comes the usual bollywood drama he decides to earn money doing things in a illegal way accompanied by raj chopra. With some characters purposely added to make it funny, like usman khujli and parvez asharaf.

This is one of those typical happy ending movie.

I would rate this movie 5/10 for screenplay

and 0/10 for music and not much to say about it

Advice:This is one time watch and forget movie

Vidic Word of Appreciation for English Football

Vidic lauds English dominance

Nemanja Vidic feels the Premier League can give itself a hefty pat on the back as four of its teams wait to discover their Champions League fate.

Once again the English quartet has made it through to the quarter-finals, with the odds on at least one of them making it to the final in Rome on May 27.

It would be the fifth time on the trot there has been top-flight representation in Europe's biggest club competition. And Vidic is in no doubt the Premier League has earned the right to call itself number one. "The English league is the best," said the Manchester United defender.

He added: "The Premier League is stronger than anyone else in Europe now.

"Once again there are four teams in the quarter-finals. That has to be good for English football.

"It is good for the players to be involved in the English game."

Given the widely publicised unhappiness UEFA president Michel Platini has at the dominance of English teams, conspiracy theorists wonder whether Friday's last-eight draw might consign all four teams to the same section, ensuring there is no repeat of the all-English showdown in Moscow last season, when United beat Chelsea on penalties.

The Londoners would certainly relish the opportunity of revenge over Sir Alex Ferguson's men, who are also aware Arsenal have a victory at the Emirates this season to fall back on, while Liverpool blitzed them at Old Trafford last weekend.

Ferguson has already revealed his gut feeling that United will draw English opposition in the knock-out stages for the first time.

And Vidic realises he may not be adding to his air miles this time around. "There is a chance we could play another English team," he said. "It is three from seven, so the odds are quite good."

Star Trek Kind Of Jersey!! Rumor's have your say….

This is the 09/10 jersey design leaked from one of the employee of nike….other jersey info were given as

“Man United is pretty much Mexico from 06. Red with a black chevron on the chest for home, and black with a blue chevron on the chest for away. Arsenals away is a weird hunter green, almost olive green. Juve's away is silver. Barca's away has a hot pink, almost salmon color on it. Celtic's home and away are weird, argyle on the shoulders with hardly anything you could call a hoop, idk if its the final product though, the rep said the fans voted on it so idk. Home is white, away is green. Idk if you guys care, just thought it was interesting.”

Da Silva Past….In Brazil

A MYSTERY Brazilian scout has dragged Arsenal into a tapping-up storm.

Manchester United's Brazilian twin full-backs Rafael and Fabio da Silva revealed they were approached by a man claiming to represent the Gunners.

Even though they were only 15 at the time, he asked them to betray their Brazilian club Fluminense, who had already agreed to let the brothers move to Old Trafford.

Rafael, now 18, said: "We were not too happy with the way he approached us.

"The scout said he was from Arsenal and invited us to come and train.

"At that time we had already been to see Manchester United and train once with our club's permission.

"But this man wanted to take us to England and say nothing to Fluminense.

"We disagreed with that principle. Fluminense was where we started, we had been there for years and they looked after us."

Fabio revealed it was their mother who intervened and made sure her sons did everything by the book.

He said: "It was upsetting. We could have signed there and then and taken all the money and Fluminense would have got nothing.

"But our mother said 'No, Fluminense have been good to you. You went there when you were 11. I want you to do everything right'.

"So we said we would sign for Manchester as it would be the best thing for us and Fluminense. So we signed and ignored the man pushing Arsenal."

There is absolutely no suggestion the mystery scout was connected with Arsenal or had been instructed by them to approach the brothers.

United’s Déjà Vu of 1992

Map picture

This is for all Man Utd. fans,

We’ve lost ..yes no matter what, a home defeat against fiercest rival is what a MU fan will least accept.

But even at the face of defeat this team will recover and reassure their dominance not only in England but in Europe and the World.

Sir Bobby Charlton response to this defeat was…”There's been a bit of pride hurt, but I don't think Sir Alex will have to work too hard to rejuvenate the players”. This is the believe that every MU fan should have.
Rooney

This for all MU haters,

We’ve the tradition of doing things the hard way, Munich 1958 disaster struck MU, but In the hospital Sir Mat Busby muttered few words in the ears of his assistant coach “Keep the flag flying high”. This team has kept his words and brought lot of honor's and glory to Old Trafford.

In terms of statistics after all this is just one defeat
MU still ahead of Liverpool and Chelsea by 4 points with a game in hand.

Glory Glory Manchester United,
One United
One Believe
