Googling Top 20 Software

Try this one on your Google search page. Type “download” without quotes and press Search.

Apart from few downloading web sites, what’s important to notice here is the software that turns up in the first few pages.

Note: I explicitly rejected results that takes to download sites such as download.com, microsoft download center and took links that exactly points to web-sites.

image

1. Firefox

2. Google Chrome

3. DivX

4. Free Java JRE

5. VLC Player

6. AIM

7. DAP

8. Adobe Downloads [Runtimes]

9. Real Player

10. Quicktime

11. OpenOffice

12. Avast! Antivirus

13. AVG

14. CCCleaner

15. Winamp

16. Skype

17. Opera

19 . Yahoo Messenger

20. iTunes

The interesting thing to notice here there is no Microsoft product in the top 20 and that took first three pages of results. What’s even more amazing here there is no link that points to downloading Win7 and that’s really amazing that shows It ain’t that hit albeit I love and eagerly waiting for WIN7 release.

If you key in interesting queries you are bound to get interesting results.  Have wonderful googling day. :)

Mayhem In The World Caused By M$ Word

All of you must have come to know about the Texas based district court judge’s decision about the interim halt of selling Microsoft word as a result of Open Source Software Violation, that seemed so obvious but it took so long to spot it. Kudos to the people who figured it out.

For those who aren’t aware of that make a note from here.

OK. That was prologue. It seems just another day at Microsoft Office. But it ain’t.  It’s cataclysmic. It’s like you just hit the panic button. You might ask stopping the sale of an application..What’s the big deal in it. If So… Read On

The Argument On Behalf of Microsoft is

“Nevermind 2012, according to Micorosoft there's a good chance that a Texas district court judge's recent decision could very well cause civilization as we know it to crumble in a few short weeks.
It all starts with Microsoft's need to redesign Word to remove the code which violates i4i's XML patent. "The money! The beautiful, beautiful money!" an entirely fictitious spokesperson stated. "There's no way we could ever recoup it. It's not like we're a massively profitable company with overwhelming shares of operating system of office software markets or something."
But there's something much more horrifying to consider here than Microsoft losing a few million dollars. It's just the first domino to fall in the series.
Next comes the cataclysmic damage to vendors like Dell, HP, and Best Buy - all of whom would have to immediately re-tool as a result. That means hours and hours of meetings - which also means lost productivity and increased stress levels.
The associated disruption of sales in an uncertain economy? It's not hard to see where this could end up. Increased joblessness. The new unemployed would no doubt turn on the justice system, and lead to waves of rioting, looting, and lawlessness.
Before you know it, the United States is a desert wasteland and we're all driving around in school buses fighting off zombie attacks. After the US, the world quickly becomes a dull, withered husk.
So please - for the sake of humanity - grant the stay.”

      Emphatic Win For Man Utd.

      macheda

It was another day….. Sir Alex and his Fall back woes continued and so did the magic of Italian striker Macheda that helped Manchester United regain the top spot after Liverpool’s emphatic four goal clean sheet. This happened twice over the couple of week and chelsea are also trying to pull themeselves out of the blues. The tension is mounting at Old Trafford. With very few games left and three games of MU  getting rescheduled and crucial champions league match to do the almost impossible task of winning at porto.

Talkin about Sunderland match:Inclusion of Berbatov raised few eyebrows and he couldnt do much. Once he was subbed tv clips showed his ankle being treated with Icebags not so good considering the porto match. But the magical run of macheda once again helped MU regain the top spot. In the villa match he was subbed at 72nd minute and scored in ET this time Sir alex subbed him at 74th minute just to the amazement of his side scoring a goal in the next few minutes. Scholes pass to Carrick . Carrick aiming the Far post and Macheda purposely deviated the ball to near post, to which Gordon couldn’t do anything but stand and see. Although we regained the top spot but the lack of center fall back Rio is clearly seen on the field Evans inexperience was clearly prominent in the game. Ben foster misjudgment to the cross resulted in Sunderland goal. Rooney’s brilliance could only help MU take the early lead. Later his brilliant play created only chances after chances surprisingly he started from RM where Ron used to play and his crosses where no doubt but of pin point accuracy.

The one thing that’s still hurting Sir Alex is to get back to the ruthless form. It must be a disgruntled feeling running through every MU fan. “So close yet so far”.

But then “No mountain too high, no river too deep”

      Once A Red

      Red Forever……..

      The Journey

The journey is about to end

      I’ve got nothing to defend

No serious enemity , no one to offend

And precisely no close and true friend

      But

The journey is about to end

      I never wanted to travel

      Having reached so far

I started with a vision in my eyes

And ecstasy that no feeling stands at par

Still unaware of why I took off

      And where exactly to land

      But

the journey is about to end

the life tried to teach at its best

and I permanently unavailable to appear for the big test

      I gained nothing but experience

The only way to have survived here is ignorance

The very sequence of mysterious failures to comprehend

      But

the journey is about to end

there were people I really liked

there were people I wanted to be liked from

the people impressed and I admired them

the people lead well and I followed them

perhaps I commited some big mistakes

which they feel might take more then my lifetime to mend

      the time is short

      and

the journey is about to end

      the last couple of months

for which I’ve been waiting for like eternity

      The ocean of emotions

      The lack of expressions

      The fears of rejection

      So much to be accomplished

      And

      Emphatic Win for Brawn Mercedes

Seasons first race ends with History being re-written by UK based Brawn Mercedes. It was 1954 when another UK based F1 team Mercedes Benz won their maiden debut race. With a 1-2 finish by Button and Barrichello(former Ferrari driver along with Schumacher) followed by contending champion Lewis who made a podium finish by coming third in a dramatic turnaround where Trulli was given a 25 second penalty by steward taking him to 12th position.

Stunning moment of this season opener was both Ferrari which started from the grid 6 and 7 position failed to deliver, adding to the woes was elimination of Massa in the 45th Lap and Kimi coming last in this season opener. The other Mclaren counterpart had a different fate written for him suffering from accident damage during this first lap.

Have you ever thought about it?

      uwp5 (14)

There are few things that seems quite obvious but when we delve into it becomes quite complicated and looks seemingly difficult. These are the questions that we ask ourselves, but we justify it in a fashion that suits to us.

Don’t think I’ve gone crazy and wtf am I writing. This is just a thought of mine that I’ve gathered and wanted to key it down, just for change :)

Well, Have you ever questioned yourself how long is the present?

The question seems weird but the answer is thought provoking it’s immeasurable; it can be said as “penetration of eternity into time”.

Who are you? Can You hear silence? What is your identity? Can you justify your existence? all looks stupid right..but its not…

The crux of these questions is…….. everything given to you is by other you have a doubt because there are people who create a belief in you. If you don’t believe you don’t have a doubt. All that is given to you is by others. If you put that aside to sort out what is yours it’s pure emptiness.

So YOU ARE PURE EMPTINESS HIDDEN BEHIND ALL THOSE WORDS AND BELIEF AND RELIGONS WHICH HAVE BEEN GIVEN TO YOU.

This must be one of the crazy stuff Ive achieved to write.

No wonder an Empty mind is devil’s workshop :)
